It's the Joker's 75th birthday and there's discussion going on at the moment about censorship/self-censorship. Here's a cover I did a while back which I was asked to tone down (before and after). Along with a couple of prelims that led up to it.

  1. In the last one, the Joker looks less like the Joker than usual because his trademark grin has also been 'toned down'. Editors, eh?

  5. "A funny line"? Well... Let me see...

"A Y[J]oke[r]l with green hair!"HA, HA, HA, HA, HA!

    WHAT? Don't you got it?

    Let me explain:

A punk traveled to the countryside and found it very boring and old-fashioned place. Then he saw a redneck with starched and green hair. Then the punk exclaimed excited:

    - Dude, that hairstyle cool! What green gel is this?

The yokel, half cold, runs a hand in the nose - runny catarrh - and straightens her hair with dirty hands and responds:

    - I didn't understand anything of what you're talking about, mister ...
